Why I am building it

I have spent a career around systems where reliability mattered and hand-waving eventually met reality. AI changed how quickly ideas can be explored, but it did not remove the need for ownership, evidence, revision history, or judgment.

SharePlane is my attempt to preserve the speed of AI-assisted work without letting the finished result evaporate into chats, disconnected files, and claims nobody can verify later.

The short version is a doorway

SharePlane can orient a reader with a thesis or abstract, but it is built for complete arguments, architecture, analysis, and narrative. Serious work should be readable without being flattened into a summary-shaped substitute.

Depth is earned by evidence and reasoning, not by word count. The point is sustained thought, not ritual length.

KISS is an operating constraint

Keep it simple is not a visual theme. Public reading stays static and open. Feeds come before proprietary subscription machinery. Managed authentication comes before custom identity code. Every dependency, validator, and protected route has to justify the failure modes it introduces.

The shorter public expression is simple: KISS, with receipts.

Ground Zero

Ground Zero is the deeper origin story: start with the primitives, understand the system, preserve the evidence, and add complexity only when the work earns it. It should appear in architecture notes and small Easter eggs, not overwhelm the product with nostalgia.

What stays separate

SharePlane can publish public-safe architecture and credibility evidence. It will not embed the privileged multi-repository control plane, broad credentials, private conversations, employer material, or security-sensitive operations into the public runtime.
